Description
The Kizer Ursa Minor Ki3472 is a beautifully crafted premium folder, the result of Kizer's collaboration with Ray Laconico, the creator of custom knives that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern and exotic materials.
The Kizer Ursa Minor Ki3472 is a small EDC folding knife, crafted from the finest materials and with beautiful details. The satin-finished blade head is made from high-quality CPM-S35VN steel, hardened to 58-60 HRC. A blade made of such steel is corrosion-resistant, retains its working sharpness for a very long time, and is relatively easy to sharpen. However, due to the chemical peculiarities of CPM-S35VN, we recommend using diamond sharpeners for sharpening. Thanks to the concave grind and clip-point profile, the blade has excellent cutting properties and efficient piercing power.
The blade is opened with one hand using a profiled flipper, which is convenient for both right- and left-handers. Thanks to the use of ceramic ball bearings on the blade's pivot axis, the blade opens very smoothly and easily, with a characteristic locking click.
A monolithic frame-lock with a replaceable steel insert prevents the blade from folding during use. Frame-lock is considered one of the most robust locking mechanisms and is characterized by dirt resistance and very comfortable operation.
The sleek, matte 6AL4V titanium liners are characterized by their perfection and precise finish. The surfaces and edges of the handle have been polished and gently profiled to ensure maximum grip comfort. The high quality and unique character of the knife are emphasized by the blue anodized screws and the flat titanium clip. A hole on the back of the handle allows for a braided paracord or lanyard to be threaded through.
The Kizer Ursa Minor Ki3472 is a striking folder of uncompromising quality, made from the best materials and with great attention to detail.
