Description
Practical Pro Katana
Hanwei's Practical Pro Katana is a powerful sword with an extended Tsuka and a thicker and longer blade. This hand-forged carbon steel blade has been differentially hardened using a traditional clay-tempering process.
The Practical Pro Katana has been finely polished. The Tsuka is wrapped with grippy synthetic leather and securely fastened with two pins. The Saya is lacquered black and features a black cotton Sageo.
The katana gets its special accent from a round Kuruma-Tsuba, depicting the Dharmachakra (or Dharma wheel), which symbolizes the Buddhist concept of the Noble Eightfold Path.
From Hanwei.
