Description
Late 17th Century Stiletto
The Hanwei (Paul Chen) Stiletto is a replica of an original from a private collection dating from the late 17th century. The stiletto was designed exclusively as a stabbing weapon and was widely used during a time when chainmail or leather armor was often part of the upper class's civilian attire.
This beautiful piece features an approximately 27 cm long blade with a triangular cross-section. The pommel and the ends of the guard, shaped like spiral pinecones, complement the buffalo horn grip. A leather-wrapped sheath with silver fittings is included.
