Initially, WESN launched a Kickstarter campaign with the intention of selling a few knives to friends and family. However, the response was overwhelming, with over three thousand individuals backing the campaign. This was a clear indication that there was a market demand for high-quality knives that aligned with Billy's convictions.

Following this initial success, WESN evolved from an idea into a mindset, and thus into the brand it is today. The brand understood that a pocket knife is not just a tool, but also a fashion item that serves to create a lifestyle. Therefore, WESN's products combine simple design with seamless functionality, making them durable and able to be passed down through generations.

Although WESN proudly calls Detroit, USA, home, its roots lie in Sweden. The brand blends industrial America with Scandinavian minimalism, weaving the best elements of both cultures into its products.
