V Nives is an American-based and operated knife company located in the state of Washington. It was founded by Mike Vellekamp, who serves as the company's president. Mike Vellekamp brings 25 years of experience in knife manufacturing and design to this innovative brand. V Nives is described as a high-performance knife company and is known for producing impressive EDC (Every Day Carry) fixed blade or folding knives.

The V Nives brand was launched on August 21, 2017, when Mike Vellekamp decided to venture out on his own under this label. The brand's introduction coincided with a Kickstarter campaign that promised to offer a full range of V Nives models by Black Friday. Unlike most companies that start with two or three designs to test the waters, V Nives launched with a wide array of models.
