Description
Solingen Rapier by Paul Chen
This Swept Hilt Rapier from Hanwei features classic lines. The blade is made of flexibly hardened carbon steel. For low maintenance, the hilt is made of stainless steel. The special guard can serve as a blade catcher, and the grip is wrapped with twisted wire. Since the hilt was made in exactly the same size as the 17th-century German original, it offers an authentic feel and matches its model in terms of weight and balance.
The blade can be replaced with the blunt Hanwei training blade (item no. OH2255), which was designed for safe rapier sparring. A matching left-handed dagger is also available (item no. SH2208) and can also be equipped with a sparring blade.
From Hanwei.
