Description
The Benchmade 162 Bushcraft Knife is a must-have for outdoor enthusiasts and survival fans alike. Designed by renowned knifemaker Shane Sibert, this robust knife is built for the toughest tasks.
The Benchmade 162, with its full-tang construction, is crafted from a single piece of steel, guaranteeing exceptional durability and reliability in use. The drop-point profile of the 112 mm long blade, with a thickness of 4 mm, is versatile for use in the kitchen as well as for chopping wood.
The flat grind of this knife provides the perfect balance between cutting efficiency and resilience. Its robust design makes it a popular choice for survivalists, bushcraft enthusiasts, hunters, and soldiers, as it doesn't compromise on quality even under heavy use.
The satin-finished blade is crafted from the highly regarded CPM-S30V stainless steel. Known for its exceptional hardness of 58-60 HRC, this steel retains its sharpness for extended periods, ensuring long-lasting cutting precision. The high vanadium carbide content provides excellent impact and wear resistance, making it an ideal choice for demanding tasks.
The handle features green G10 laminate overlays securely attached to the tang with titanium bushings. G10, a lightweight glass-epoxy composite, offers impressive mechanical strength and is resistant to moisture and heat. The ergonomic profile of the handle, coupled with the defined grip and textured tang, ensures a secure and comfortable hold during prolonged use.
For convenient carrying, the knife comes with a leather sheath with a belt clip. The sheath is also equipped with a steel ring, allowing you to easily attach it to your gear, as well as a side loop for a fire steel, making your outdoor adventures even more versatile.
