Description
Dadao, by Paul Chen
Traditionally used by China's peasant armies for a long time, the Dadao, or great sword, remained in use until the Sino-Japanese War in the 1930s.
Its one-handed and two-handed usability, as well as its head-heavy, powerful blade, made it an ideal close-combat sword.
Even though the original sword didn't have a scabbard, Hanwei provides a carrying case for protection and easy transport of the sword.
From Hanwei.
