Description
Great Wave Tanto
The Great Wave Tanto, created by Paul Chen for Hanwei, features the Japanese Tomoe motif, often used as a family crest and as an adornment for shrines. The Fuchi and Kashira are made of blackened iron and decorated with the Tomoe Mon.
The hand-forged blade, made from T10 carbon steel, features a long (O)Kissaki. It has been differentially hardened and exhibits a distinct temper line (Hamon).
The Saya is lacquered in deep black. The Tanto features a ribbed Tsuka made of buffalo horn.
You can complete your collection with the matching Great Wave Katana (item number SH5004) and Great Wave Wakizashi (item number SH5002).
