Description
The Kizer Fire Ant Ki2535A1 is a small everyday folder designed for Kizer by Dirk Pinkerton, creator of custom knives with a unique design.
The Kizer Fire Ant Ki2535A1 is a perfect example of a premium knife that won't painfully strain your wallet.
The 69 mm long blade is made of CPM-S35VN stainless steel with an optimal hardness of 58-60 HRC. In addition to high corrosion and chip resistance, the blade has high impact resistance, retains its excellent working sharpness for a very long time, and, thanks to the addition of niobium, is neither difficult nor time-consuming to sharpen.
However, due to the nature of CPM-S35VN steel, we recommend using a diamond sharpening stone for sharpening.
The Warncliff blade profile used, with its sloping spine, straight cutting edge, and flat grind, is excellent for precision cuts and planing tasks.
The blade opens with a double-sided thumb stud, a solution suitable for both right and left-handed users. The spine of the blade features jimping where the thumb can rest during cutting. The perfectly centered pivot runs very smoothly and easily thanks to the use of ceramic ball bearings.
The deployed blade is locked by a monolithic frame-lock, equipped with a steel reinforcement insert to prevent abrasion of the titanium strip.
The knife impresses with its excellent aesthetics and light weight, thanks to the use of titanium liners, a metal that is corrosion and temperature resistant, as well as resistant to mechanical damage.
The contoured shape of the handle and the grooves on its edges ensure a good grip and prevent the knife from slipping out of hand. The simple titanium clip allows for discreet pocket carry with the blade folded up.
The Kizer Fire Ant Ki2535A1 is a small, comfortable-to-carry knife whose functionality and build quality guarantee lasting satisfaction.
