Description
90 years ago, brothers Steinar and Sigmund Helle built a forge and began making knives on the family farm in Holmedal. In designing the 2022 limited edition, Jan Steffen and Svein-Erik Helle sought to honor their grandfathers by designing knives that preserve the essence of their design philosophy.
The SE (Svein-Erik) design features a 110 cm long, highly polished H3LS blade with a slight false edge on the spine. The handle is slightly longer at 115 mm and is made of curly birch with reindeer horn inserts and green-dyed leather. The sheath, with the original Helle print from the 1930s, is made of classic light brown leather with white stitching, matching the antler, Svein-Erik's grandfather's favorite material.
