Description
The Outback Edition series was developed to meet the highest demands of hunters and bushcrafters by being 100% outdoor-ready. Silky has applied a black coating made from a unique blend of nickel and tin to the entire blade, including the teeth. This ensures a long lifespan for the saw blade and incredible cutting performance, while the dark, anti-reflective color makes this saw suitable for tactical operations. The composite handle is made from a wood/plastic blend: the feel is slightly harder than Silky's usual GOM rubber handle, but offers more grip with oily substances.
The Bigboy 2000 multifunctional folding saw, with its robust, slightly curved 360 mm saw blade and extra-large tooth arrangement, reaches far and saws above shoulder height. It performs the pull stroke, which feels natural and requires little effort. The curvature ensures that the teeth easily grip the wood and prevents the saw from falling out of the cut. Thanks to the curve, you have control over both fresh and dry wood. The blade can be easily unfolded and opened with the locking button and has two different cutting positions. The hole in the handle offers the possibility to attach a carabiner or a rope to the saw.
