Description
The TOPS Knives Storm Vector SVEC-01 is a large machete designed in the style of the famous Seax knives used by the Vikings over 1000 years ago. TOPS has created a modern, larger version of this knife that serves as a robust outdoor survival tool.
The blade is made of robust 1095 carbon steel with a hardened edge that retains its sharpness well. The spine of the blade is uncoated, making it more durable and resistant to wear. Although 1095 carbon steel is not stainless, TOPS has given the blade an Acid Rain finish to prevent rust and develop a unique patina over time.
The handle is made of Micarta with blue G10 liners, providing a comfortable grip even when wet. The TOPS Storm Vector comes with a Kydex sheath equipped with a removable dangler, making it easy to carry and offering versatility and comfort.
The Storm Vector is TOPS' modern interpretation of the scramasax, extensively used by the Vikings. The machete features a gray-coated blade made of non-stainless 1095 carbon steel, while the handle is adorned with blue inlays and a lightning motif on the blade's front. The ergonomically shaped Micarta handle provides a good grip in all conditions, making it a versatile and reliable tool for outdoor activities.
If you're looking for a machete that combines traditional style with modern features, the TOPS Knives Storm Vector SVEC-01 is the perfect tool for you. It's a robust and durable outdoor knife that will serve you well in any situation, whether you're exploring the wilderness or working on your homestead.
