Benchmade-Griptilian-Series
The Benchmade Griptilian series is one of the most durable and well-known folder lines from the manufacturer and was introduced in 2001; it was designed by US knife maker Mel Pardue. Characteristic of the series is its consistent focus on uncomplicated everyday utility - and the use of the AXIS-Lock, a locking concept developed by Bill McHenry and Jason Williams, which Benchmade has been using in many models since the late 1990s. Over the years, the Griptilian family has grown into numerous variants and sizes (including "Mini" models) and has thus established itself as a permanent fixture in the Benchmade program.
