Description
Viking Hurum Sword, Regular Version
Based on the design of classic Viking swords, the Hurum Viking Sword features a broad blade made of EN45 spring steel and has a pronounced fuller, which gives the sword great elasticity and lightness at the same time. The edges are not sharpened and the tip is rounded. The short guard and the pommel are made of steel. The pommel is firmly riveted to the blade tang.
The grip of the sword is wrapped with leather cord. The sword comes with a very beautiful wooden-leather scabbard with a wooden loop as a belt hanger (for belts up to 5 cm wide). The scabbard has a steel chape.
This is the regular version of this Viking sword. The same sword is also available in a battle-ready version, with a blunt, thick blade and rounded tip: Article no. 0180001806.
