Description
With the Ferrum Forge Mini Archbishop Carbon Fiber, the Chinese manufacturer Ferrum Forge is launching another high-quality product that should be of interest to many knife enthusiasts.
Blade made of valuable Nitro V
The 7 cm long and 3 mm thick blade has a drop-point shape and is made of robust Nitro V. Due to the blade tip being shifted towards the central axis of the blade, the power transfer to the blade tip is particularly good with this type of blade, making the drop-point blade easy to handle and safe to control. The knife is also equipped with a plain blade, which can be sharpened more easily than, for example, serrated blades. The flat grind used combines good properties in terms of cutting sharpness and stability, as a flat-ground knife blade is more eager to cut than a blade with a convex grind. The blade is silver. The reliable linerlock secures the blade against accidental closing after unfolding. Additionally, the linerlock has automatic wear compensation, which effectively prevents axial play even with frequent use. The lock is also relatively insensitive to moisture or light dirt.
With a handle made of stylish stainless steel, G10
The handle, measuring 9.2 cm, feels secure in hand. It is made of high-quality stainless steel, G10. G10 is a composite material consisting of at least two raw materials. These are typically fiberglass and epoxy resin. The combination of both creates an extremely durable and resilient handle material. The handle is black.
