Grayl UltraPress Replacement Filter Orange

Replacement cleaning cartridge with a capacity of 150 liters for the Grayl Ultrapress filter bottle. Suitable for Grayl Ultrapress filter bottles. In just 10 seconds, we can purify up to 3.000 ml of water taken from anywhere on Earth.

Fill Grayl removes 99.99% of viruses from the water

The Grayl Ultrapress filter removes pathogens from water, such as viruses, rotaviruses, bacteria, parasitic protozoa, pesticides, chemicals, heavy metals, and microplastics. The filter also improves the taste, odor, and clarity of the water by removing sediment, silt, and other impurities. By using Grayl Ultrapress, we can protect ourselves from viral hepatitis, salmonella, dysentery, cholera, and other deadly diseases.

At the heart of Grayl purification systems is an advanced activated carbon filter, responsible for the ion exchange process. This softens and purifies dirty water, reduces iron and manganese content, and also improves the taste of the water through the use of activated carbon. Unlike conventional mechanical filtration, the Grayl filter uses electroabsorption components capable of removing pathogens and inorganic contaminants in the sub-micron range.

While the water is "pressed," electroheating and ion exchange processes occur, creating an effective submicron trap for pathogens (viruses, bacteria, and parasitic protozoa). The filter consists of multiple layers of finely powdered activated carbon, which is responsible for trapping toxins, i.e., chemicals and heavy metals. The filter also contains zeolites with silver ions, which act as natural antimicrobial agents, inhibiting bacterial growth and improving the taste of the water.

The carbon filter's lifespan is 150 liters (approx. 300 uses) or 3 years from first use. Water with high levels of silt, sediment, and tannins can reduce filter performance and lifespan. Towards the end of its life, filter time may increase to 25-30 seconds, but it still provides effective protection against pathogens in dirty water. A properly stored, unopened purification cartridge has a shelf life of 10 years.
