Hanwei Scottish Claymore Sword, Standard Version

Scottish Claymore Sword, standard version

The Claymore was the pillar of the Highland warriors of the 15th and 16th centuries. It has a unique hilt that clearly distinguishes this sword from other weapons commonly used during that period. With the versatile hand-and-a-half sword, sweeping cuts can be executed as effectively as powerful thrusts. Faithfully reproduced from a museum piece, the sword features a classic design.

The sweeping crossguard is square-shaped, with its ends terminating in striking quatrefoil ornaments on the sides, continuing the fuller of the blade in the center. The leather-wrapped handle ends in a spherical pommel. The sword was carried on the back using a carrying strap and can therefore be perfectly complemented by a back scabbard (e.g., item number 0101050600). This is the normal version of the Hanwei Claymore sword.

The same sword is also available in an antique finish version (item number HN-SH2060N).
