Description
Three Monkeys Katana
The three wise monkeys are a widely known image. Together, they represent the proverbial principle of seeing no evil, hearing no evil, speaking no evil. The three monkeys are named Mizaru, who covers his eyes and sees no evil, Kikazaru, who covers his ears and hears no evil, and Iwazaru, who covers his mouth and speaks no evil.
The Three Monkeys Katana was constructed with a traditional Shinogi Zukuri blade with Bo-Hi to reduce its weight and improve balance and handling. The carbon steel blade is hand-forged and differentially hardened. The blackened iron Tsuba depicts a three wise monkeys motif.
