Description
The Kizer Domin V4516N2 is a sleek, everyday-carry folder designed for maximum functionality and comfort. If you're looking for an efficient and affordable everyday knife that's also made from high-quality materials, you've come to the right place.
The knife features a slender, 88 mm long blade crafted from high-alloy, rust-resistant Bohler N690 steel. This Austrian hardened tool steel boasts high corrosion resistance, is durable, maintains its working sharpness well, and is also easy to sharpen. After hardening, the steel achieves a hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC, which is an excellent compromise between impact resistance and ease of sharpening. The blade is treated with a stonewashed technique, whose irregular texture effectively conceals scratches from use. The combination of a drop point profile and flat grind ensures tip and edge strength, minimal head wedging, and very good cutting properties, making the Kizer Domin V4516N2 an efficient and reliable companion.
To unfold the blade, a double-sided thumb stud is used, which can be comfortably operated by both right- and left-handed users. The pivot works dynamically and very smoothly thanks to the brass washers. After opening the blade, the classic liner-lock mechanism, appreciated for its simple design and comfortable operation, locks the wedge. The knife's handle consists of steel liners to which textured G-10 laminate scales are attached. A hole in the spacer allows for threading a rope or paracord braid. The steel clip can be attached to the left and right of the scales in the tip-up position.
The Kizer Domin V4516N2 is a tool that offers everything we could want from an everyday knife: high-quality craftsmanship, reliability, and functionality.
