Description
The Kizer Lieb V2541N1 is a small EDC folder from renowned knifemaker Azo, featuring a bearing-mounted blade made from high-quality Bohler N690 steel, G10 laminate liners, and a decorative, anodized aluminum ring.
The designer of the Kizer Lieb V2541N1 knife has succeeded in creating a knife that, despite its small size, is a lightweight and fully functional tool for everyday tasks. The blade is made of high-alloy, stainless Bohler N690 steel. This Austrian tool steel has high corrosion resistance, is durable, maintains its working sharpness well, and is also easy to sharpen. After hardening, the steel reaches a hardness of 58-60 HRC, which is an excellent compromise between impact resistance and ease of sharpening. The Wharncliffe head with a full flat grind is processed with a satin (polishing) technique that covers scratches from daily use to a certain extent.
The blade can be unfolded with one hand using a flipper, allowing both right- and left-handed users to operate the knife comfortably. Thanks to the bearing on the blade axis, the blade opens smoothly and dynamically, significantly increasing comfort in daily use. The strength and rigidity of the construction are ensured by the skeletonized liners, to which the profiled G-10 laminate scales are attached. The coarse texturing and circular grooves cut into the scales provide excellent grip and an attractive appearance. The only decorative element of the knife is the blue anodized pivot ring.
Secure use is guaranteed by the proven liner-lock, which is characterized by high durability, simple construction, and convenient operation. The locking function is performed by a skeletonized strip (liner) that supports the back of the blade when unfolded. At the end of the handle, there is a hole into which a cord or lanyard can be threaded. Thanks to the clip (non-transferable), the knife can be conveniently carried in a pocket, on a belt, or in a sheath. The Kizer Justice Lieb V2541N1 is a modern, everyday folding knife that appeals to all who appreciate handy and functional design.
