Kizer takes immense pride in its manufacturing process, utilizing state-of-the-art wire EDM machines to meticulously cut each component of the knife. While this method is slower compared to laser or waterjet cutting, Kizer believes the resulting quality is well worth the wait. Every component of their knives is machined with the utmost precision and crafted to the finest tolerances, underscoring their tireless dedication to craftsmanship. Through the skilled hands of their devoted artisans, each knife is carefully fitted, finished, sharpened, and fine-tuned to ensure optimal quality.

Kizer's Vanguard series embodies the company's commitment to offering excellent value without compromising on quality. While Kizer has earned a well-deserved reputation in the high-end knife market, it also wanted to make its exceptional products accessible to a wider audience. They drew inspiration from their famous Bladesmith and Prime series and recreated these designs with materials that offer excellent value for money. By using excellent materials such as VG10 for the blades and G10 or stainless steel for the handles, Kizer ensures that its products are suitable for various budgets without compromising on construction.

At Kizer, tools are crafted with a single goal in mind – quality you can rely on until the very end. The Vanguard series embodies this goal, distilling the essence of the Bladesmith and Prime series into tools that excel in practical use. This knife may not be the only one in your collection, but it will undoubtedly become your reliable everyday companion.

The Kizer Sheepdog Linerlock Green V3488C2 features a satin-finished 154CM stainless steel blade, known for its durability and excellent edge retention.
