Description
The Kizer Sliver Ki4419A1 is an elegant everyday folder featuring a CPM-S35VN powdered steel blade and lightweight aluminum liners.
The slender, 90 mm long blade is crafted from American CPM-S35VN powdered steel. This type of stainless steel is characterized by high hardness and strength (hardened to 58-60 HRC), wear and corrosion resistance, and excellent edge retention.
Unlike its predecessor (CPM-S30V), CPM-S35VN is much easier to sharpen due to its finer grain and the addition of niobium. The sandblasted blade with a drop-point profile and flat grind ensures high blade strength and very good cutting performance.
Thanks to the use of phosphor bronze washers, the head runs very lightly and smoothly. The blade is unfolded with the help of a double-edged pin, so that both right- and left-handed users can operate the knife comfortably. On the back of the blade there are cross-ribs, which allow for a stable rest for the thumb or index finger when planing and precision cutting.
The knife's overlays are made from lightweight, anodized aluminum. The deep milling of the surface ensures a very stable grip and gives the knife a modern style.
The profiled clip and lanyard hole subtly emphasize the utilitarian nature of the knife. Secure operation is ensured by the proven liner-lock, valued for its simple construction and ease of use.
The Kizer Sliver Ki4419A1 is a sleek and very lightweight EDC knife that combines modern styling, functionality, and excellent build quality.
