Description
The QSP Knife Hawk shredded carbon is a pocket knife from the Chinese manufacturer QSP Knife.
Blade made of quality 14C28N, Damascus
The 8,2 cm long and 2,7 mm, 3 mm thick blade has a drop-point shape and is made of solid 14C28N, Damascus. Thanks to the displacement of the blade tip to the center of the blade, the power transfer to the blade tip is particularly good with this blade shape, making the blade easy to handle and control. Thanks to the plain edge, the knife can be easily resharpened, which is ideal especially for beginners. The flat grind used combines good properties in terms of cutting sharpness and stability, as a flat-ground knife blade is more eager to cut than a blade with a convex grind. The reliable linerlock secures the blade against accidental closing after unfolding. Thanks to automatic wear compensation, potential blade play is prevented even with frequent use. The lock is also relatively insensitive to moisture or light dirt.
With handle made of robust carbon fiber, Micarta
The handle, measuring 10.5 cm, fits securely in the hand. It is made of robust carbon fiber, Micarta. Micarta is a durable and robust composite material. It consists of several layers of carrier sheets soaked in synthetic resin, such as linen or paper. Thanks to its simple processing and outstanding appearance, Micarta is increasingly used in knife handles. QSP Knife opted for gray and black for the handle color.
