Chef's knives, paring knives, carving knives, and serrated knives can all be cared for with this sharpener. The built-in angle guides ensure a consistent and repeatable angle, allowing you to quickly and precisely sharpen the edges of your knives. Simply place your knife on the angle guide and draw the blade a few times from heel to tip across the ceramic, and you're ready to go.
The 9-inch fine ceramic rod is long enough to safely and comfortably sharpen all your kitchen knives, removing very little material to bring the sharpness back to where you need it. Place the rubber tip of the ceramic rod on your countertop, workbench, or grill for safe and stable sharpening. The angle guides prevent the ceramic puller from rolling off the countertop when laid down, or you can attach a cord to the handle so it can be hung on your grill when not in use.
