Zero Tolerance Sinkevich KVT

This beautiful design from ZT and Dmitry Sinkevich is destined to earn a place of honor in your collection.

However, the 0470 is by no means intended purely as an exhibit for the display case. Quite the opposite. It is a highly practical EDC knife that can be used for a wide range of tasks – and looks good doing it.

The blade is made from CPM 20CV, a high-chromium stainless steel. In this powder metallurgy tool steel, the high proportion of vanadium carbides ensures remarkable wear resistance and above-average edge retention. Since CPM 20CV has the highest chromium content of all high-vanadium steels, it also exhibits excellent corrosion resistance. The two-tone blade finish (partially satin, partially stonewashed) is visually very appealing, and thanks to ZT's KVT (Kershaw Velocity Technology) ball-bearing opening mechanism, the knife can be opened quickly and smoothly via the flipper.

The 0470's titanium handle features a marbled carbon fiber insert that's a real eye-catcher. Instead of the usual weave pattern found in standard carbon plates, ZT's inlay boasts a beautiful marbling. To achieve this marbled pattern, carbon fibers are randomly dropped onto the plate. Resin is then added to bind the fibers and create a smooth surface. For a fascinating, even more refined look, the inlay's surface is left matte.

This fine pocket knife gets its finishing touches from a titanium pocket clip and a black anodized aluminum backspacer.
