Description
The Zero Tolerance 0460 is one of ZT's most popular knives. But while the original model features a carbon fiber front scale and a titanium back scale, the handle of the 0460TI is entirely made of titanium.
The 0460TI was designed by Dmitry Sinkevich and is based on his Polychotky Jr. As with the original, the handle features a distinct ergonomic curve, fitting perfectly into the palm of the hand. It was also partly 3D-milled to achieve an even better fit and grip.
The blade is made of CPM 20CV, which is characterized by exceptional toughness and resistance to burr formation, without sacrificing wear resistance. In this steel, the high content of niobium, vanadium, and chromium carbides ensures very good sharpenability and edge retention. A two-tone blade surface provides a sharp look: the ground areas are satin-finished, and the remaining surfaces have a stonewash finish.
Thanks to ZT's KVT (Kershaw Velocity Technology) ball-bearing opening mechanism, the knife opens smoothly via the flipper. A titanium frame lock with a hardened steel lock bar ensures secure blade retention during use. The knife gets its finishing touch from a matte black anodized aluminum backspacer, beautifully complemented by black screws and a black, Teflon®-coated pocket clip.
