Condor

The history of Condor Tool & Knife dates back to the late 18th century, specifically the year 1787, when the Gebr. Weyersberg Company was founded in Solingen, Germany. Since then, the company has been known for high-quality swords and military knives, as well as agricultural tools and household cutlery. 1964, the company expanded through the descendants of the Weyersberg brothers to El Salvador, South America, where a production facility with the latest German equipment was built and the new company IMACASA® was established. To maintain quality standards there as well, some local employees from South America were sent to Solingen to learn traditional, proven manufacturing processes and to establish them in their production facility.

IMACASA® subsequently specialized in the wholesale production of ironwork tools for agriculture, construction, lawn and garden care, and industry. The company now exports to more than 50 countries around the world and is one of the largest machete and shovel manufacturers in the world. In 2004, IMACASA® developed its first quality line of tools and knives for the North American and European outdoor market. Condor Tool & Knife was born.

Today, Condor manufactures machetes, knives, axes, shovels, swords, spears, and other high-quality accessories. The vision is to be the leading company in the marketing and sales of premium tools and knives in the sporting goods market.
