Description
Scout Axe, Condor
The Scout Hatchet from Condor Tool & Knife is about half the price of comparable hatchets from well-known manufacturers. The Scout Hatchet from Condor works well as a carving hatchet. It is difficult to find a comparable product on the market that performs as well as this small hatchet for this price.
As a camping tool, the Condor Scout Hatchet is a lightweight and a very capable cutting tool in experienced hands. The Condor hatchet is excellent for building shelters and making campfire wood with a diameter of no more than 20 cm.
Although the Scout Hatchet will not replace other specialized cutting tools (knives, machetes, large axes), its low weight and utility make it a good choice for the weight-conscious backpacker.
This small scout axe will most likely become your go-to cutting tool for overnight camping trips and day hikes.
