Description
The Kizer Darrel Ralph Gunhammer Ki4501A2 is a premium folder with a recurve blade made from CPM-S35VN steel and machine-milled titanium liners.
The knife has a wide blade with a utilitarian recurve profile, guaranteeing excellent cutting properties. If you choose a knife with a recurve head, it is advisable to equip yourself with special oval sharpening stones, which significantly facilitate sharpening.
The blade has a matte stonewash finish (sandblasting) that perfectly conceals scratches caused by use. Holes in the upper part of the blade complement the original design and emphasize the modern style.
The knife's blade is made of premium CPM-S35VN powder steel with a high hardness of 58-60 HRC. A blade made of such steel is corrosion and chip resistant, retains its sharpness for a very long time, and is relatively easy to sharpen thanks to the addition of niobium.
Thanks to the use of ball bearings, the knife is characterized by its excellent smooth action. Unfolding the perfectly centered blade is very light and easy, bringing a smile to every knife enthusiast's face.
The enlarged, milled flipper and the ambidextrous thumb stud for opening the blade are convenient for both right- and left-handed users. Operating comfort is ensured by the raised ramp with cross-milling, which provides a comfortable rest for the thumb or index finger.
Safety is ensured by a stable frame lock, reinforced with a steel insert, which also acts as a mechanism to prevent overextension of the blade.
The knife has titanium liners with a striking and aggressive texture, produced with precise 3D technology. The anatomically shaped handle adapts perfectly to any hand and offers high comfort.
The designer of the Darrel Ralph knife also didn't forget the clip, which on this model is made of titanium and can be fixed in the upper/lower position.
The Kizer Darrel Ralph Gunhammer Ki4501A2 is a robust tool for everyday use, characterized by its striking design, high functionality, and excellent workmanship.
