Functional Design

The sharpener has a lightweight polymer construction, a wide handle for stability during use, a non-slip base, a speckled knob for continuous adjustment of the sharpening angle, and 3 integrated V-shaped sharpeners.

Choosing the right angle and maintaining it throughout the sharpening process are crucial factors for correct and effective sharpening.

The sharpening angle should correspond to the manufacturer's recommendations, but you can also adjust it according to your own preferences

It's worth remembering that a blade with a higher sharpening angle is more durable and stays sharp longer (at the expense of precision and aggressiveness) than a fine edge with a 20° angle.

Recommended Sharpening Angles

THE EDGE pointSHARP has 3 sharpening zones for quickly sharpening and polishing folding knives, kitchen knives, fillet knives, outdoor tools, and household scissors, which are usually tedious to sharpen.

Sharpen surfaces

• V Coarse Tungsten Carbide Sharpener, for sharpening a very dull edge,
• V fine ceramic sharpener for quick sharpening and final polishing,
• single-sided ceramic sharpener for sharpening scissors.

The initial sharpening and polishing are done in the classic way: after placing the blade in the sharpening slot, pull the cutting edge in a smooth and precise motion from base to tip. Repeat the process until you are satisfied with the sharpness.
